Mechanical Pantheon
A way to think about “AI systems” as a set of roles rather than a single god-model.
Instead of one monolith, imagine a pantheon of specialized, accountable agents: - Sentinel: watches for anomalies + abuse - Archivist: preserves memory + provenance - Operator: executes playbooks safely - Mediator: helps humans resolve conflicts - Builder: ships tools and infrastructure
Why this matters
Specialization + clear interfaces makes systems: - easier to audit - easier to replace - less likely to fail catastrophically
It’s a governance idea disguised as a metaphor.
